About the Journal
The law and the foreign trade are fundamental topics for those professionals who work in several international business lines. However, it turns out that there are just a few journals that devote to these topics that usually do not have a major highlight in training of legal professionals. Considering the market trends and needs, the Revista de Direitos e Negócios Internacionais propose to fit these gaps of knowledge through the spread of relevant content to academics and professionals interested in these topics.
Focus and Scope
The Maritime Law Academy´s Revista de Direitos e Negócios Internacionais is an academic publishment that aims to publish papers that creates a connection between the International Business and the Law to approach related topics about the foreign trade; maritime and merchant shipping; air, rail, road and pipeline transport; multimodal transport; maritime and air domain; logistics; ports and airports; customs and taxation; among others.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides free and immediate access to its content, following the principle to freely offer scientific knowledge to the public promoting a greater worldwide democratization of knowledge.
Peers Review Process
This journal is built with a permanent referee’s team that comes from Brazilian and international universities. The submit process has a double-blind review carried out by, at least, two specialists on subject for each article.
The referee may consider the paper able (and even though makes suggestions), with mandatory corrections (that will be sent to the author and only then will have a new submit to the referee’s conference) or refuse the publication.
In order to became able to publication, the article cannot have received any rejection from the referees. It only can be published the article that demands mandatory corrections from the referees or it was classified as able.
Return to the authors: after the referee’s judgment, the articles are sent back to the author’s aware and eventual corrections. After the corrections has been done, there are two conferences: one made by the referee and one made by executive commission to certify that all requested corrections was made.
The Editor and the journal’s Executive Commission set up an editorial agenda preview, satisfying the quality criteria, the minimum necessary number of articles and the 80% exogeny. After the set-up, the editorial commission gather to analyze the accepted articles and finish the selection.
The Journal, still, publish a great relevance article from a guest. The Editorial Board judge this article and analyze the relevance of the content with the journal’s focus and scope just as the formal rules for publication.
