Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss Brazil's participation in international trade linked to the need for investments in infrastructure and logistics, aligned to a balanced matrix of the modes of transport. Public and private actors operating in the sector have enthusiastically viewed construction initiatives and improvements in railways, roadways, maritime and port facilities, as encouraging the country's greater participation in the rankings of international trade organizations. This work aims to address recent investments in the main modes of transport and port infrastructure as accelerators of economic development and commercial activity, across the world
